That's the confident claim made by Brighton's The Auteur on their thriving online community - and only a band with the songs and live show to back up such a statement could pull it off. Fortunately, the band have both - and are quickly generating a real buzz around their electro-tinged powerpop, creating waves within a scene dominated by American artists.
They recently supported American giants, Boys Like Girls on their February tour.

Beta Rays
Beta Rays are undoubtedly one of the most exciting acts around today. Hailing from London, England, they are thrilling their audiences and invigorating the scene with a sound that is distinctive and dynamic. They exude energy and radiate a pizazz which is sweeping their audiences into a mesmeric maelstrom of adrenaline-fuelled ecstasy.

Double A
DoubleA are a Pop/Punk band from Enfield. They pride themselves on energetic comical strong performances and most of all, lots of audience participation.

Juke
This Alt Rock band from Bromley can be described as 'controlled chaos' with music that combines heavy and classic rock in a tasteful fashion. For those who say that "rock is dead", these guys are sure to alter their opinion.

Red Monday
A young and promising indie/alternative rock band from Enfield. They have played venues around London such as Camden Barfly and the Bull&Gate. They will be playing at the Zimbalam Surface Unsigned Festival later this year.
